The Arenal area deserves 3-4 nights, so yes, I'd add in time for your inland locations, which are more unique to Costa Rica. You can only head to La Fortuna the day you land if you have an early flight.

I would look at Hilton La Romana, it was completely renovated in 2019 and they built a new water park in 2021.
