There are a number of other private lodges/reserves that offer very reasonably priced tours of their property in the area. With your own transportation, you'll need to contact each place individually to reserve a day/time & guide.

That said, we like to take a lot of small guided tours and would like to give a small gift to guides, etc. Can anyone tell me a few ideas of what might be appreciated?
2024年5月22日 · Lost items go to the police in Japan. If you lose something, you'll go to the nearby Koban, police box, and report it. There is always a good chance the lost item comes back to you. My son once lost his wallet in a taxi in Hiroshima and by the time we realized, we were on the Shinkansen to Osaka already.
