4 天前 · 13th Day of 21 day trip. Very pleasant weather to start the day with. Proceeded to Nara Park , Todaji temple and nearby areas. Went to Osaka from Shin osaka ,Tokaido Sanyo line... and from osaka to Tsuruhashi by Osaka Loop line, Tsuruhashi to Kintetsu Nara Station by Kintetsu Nara line. When you're in Shinbashi, taking the NEX from Tokyo Station to NRT is easier and probably quicker than taking the Yamanote Line to Nippori and Skyliner to NRT. The Yamanote Line is almost always crowded, so best to avoid it with luggage.

FYI for those actually wanting to go on rides, it’s cheaper to book your tickets. While the on line price varies (sometimes as low as $45) a ticket bought from the box office on the day can be $80.
