   2024年5月7日 · 2024年5月7日. 病原體. 「沙士」即嚴重急性呼吸系統綜合症，是由嚴重急性呼吸系統綜合症冠狀病毒引起的呼吸道傳染病。 病徵. 「沙士」的早期症狀與流行性感冒相似。 一般而言，患者起初會發高燒（體溫在攝氏38度或以上）。 其他症狀可包括發冷、顫抖、頭痛、疲倦或肌肉痛，亦有機會出現肚瀉。 病發初期，部分患者只有輕微的呼吸道感染症狀。 數日後患者可能會有咳嗽、呼吸困難等下呼吸道感染的症狀，當中約10%病者的病情可能會迅速惡化至呼吸衰竭，並須接受深切治療。 長者的症狀或會有較大的變化。 傳播途徑. 「沙士」主要透過人與人近距離的接觸，通過患者咳嗽或打噴嚏時產生的呼吸道飛沫而傳播。 當患者的飛沫附在周邊人士的口、鼻或眼睛的黏膜上時，就有機會傳播病毒。
