2009年3月14日 · I am trying to update a tired looking kitchen and want to try and locate somewhere to buy white or cream formica sheets to overlay over the dated draw bases. Really struggling to find anyone that sells it. Any suggestions would be much appreciated Thanks
2006年6月24日 · A standard 10'x4' of plain coloured formica will set you back the best part of £100. You may be lucky and just get two worktop widths out of this. Why have it cut to size it will need scribing to your walls anyway. 2020年9月1日 · Screwfix Select. Sep 1, 2020. #3. I might slip keeping a router flat on the edge due to lack of practice and router cutters don't always have the cutter dead square to the base. Think it needs to be hand tools but lots to trim off. Ikea suggest scissor initially after it's stuck on. Doesn't seem to be a good idea at all.

It used to be available in large sheets all sorts of colours and patterns and supplied cut into strips if needed. IMHO it's also far more durable than melamine. It was used on all kitchen units and worktops probably well into the 70's maybe 80's + diy or bought.
2017年1月18日 · If you go along a guide, you risk moving the cutter, even a millimeter of router slack will blow the top. You want the router on full speed or just below. 4 or 5 passes to go though the worktop to cut it. If possible, remove the worktop, as the time it takes to remove, refit and seal may be less of a headache than hacking,grinding or sanding the last few inches. if you can remove it if possible and its a small amount consider removing from the other end if this is hidden as rough edges wont show big all. Size the wall first and let the paste dry, then make up the paste a little thicker than you would normally, paste the wall and hang the paper. I do not know of the Perfax paste, however ...
