On rainy days, see if you can plan places that offer the occasional cover (various shopping areas, temples, Tsukiji, Ameyoko, etc). Visiting wide open areas like gardens and parks will not be as enjoyable.

You're guaranteed to get a 3,500 yen bottle of whisky, and if you're lucky, you get a more expensive bottle. The top prize is Yamazaki 12 (when I was there the last time).
2024年5月18日 · The Snow wall walk in Murodo @2400m opens annually from mid-April to late June. refer to the official website for online ticketing info, incl a round trip from Toyama w/o crossing. As you approach from Toyama side, online booking in advance is highly recommended due to crowds.
