The standard economic assumption under demand-side economics is that raising interest rates will lower demand and inflation. Continually raising interest rates does not prevent inflation.

When I say that the computer is honing in on a new target or date, often, we must simply look at what unfolds on that target to understand the full forecast. We are waiting for the CONFIRMATION.
