Options are Nikko or Kaga-Onsen with the hope of catching fall colours, quality onsen/ryokan, culture and food (last is most important!). Nikko getting Kinugawa Koen/Onsen ryokans. Heard Nikko very crowded so thinking of Kaga-Onsen.
2024年5月19日 · 9th Day Day started from Sapporo Station rapid express train on the Hakodate Line to Otaru. The journey was wonderful. Initial 20/25 minutes normal landscape,but From zenibako station it was breathtaking. The sea of Japan was all along romancing the railway tracks ,for the next 30 minutes ...Many places the water was less than few feet from the railway tracks.

5 天前 · I am feeling overwhelmed trying to find a hotel in Tokyo for 4 nights from 5th July. We are two females so a safe area is important & it seems Shinjuku or Shibuya would be ideal although Tokyo Station might be too? We need two single beds & a great location. Budget is JPY30,000.00 per night.

My son wants to stay in a hip area with loads of interesting things to do. Suggestions would be appreciated as well as hotel recommendations. Thanks. Reply.

I have generally found the following for the best prices: A) Google/hotels (which also checks the hotel’s own discounts) B) Agoda (but be careful since they use price discrimination so the price depends on whether you clicked through Google or elsewhere, how long you spent on various sites, etc.
