I enjoy looking at all the murals and going to the Saturday Martket called Three Hens and a Rooster.🐓 The River Cafe is a lovely stop for lunch or happy hour. Get a table by the river and watch the water birds and the iguanas.

June is the rainy season so even you go to that area you might not be able to see it at all. Even when it is not rainy the haze can block the view. It really depends on your luck. If you started at The River Cafe, coming by taxi, instead of back on the Malecon, would save you quite a few steps (literally, both distance and staircases).
