The plan is to spend 9 nights in Hokkaido, then come down south and spend 5 nights in Tohoku. 4 nights at Sendai and 5th night at an onsen Ryokan near Yamagata.

2024年5月9日 · Please correct if wrong. May 9, 2024, 5:30 AM. The best might be having a day trip of Kawaguchiko on a clear day while you're staying at Tokyo. Traveling between Hakone and Kawaguchiko is so troublesome that you have to struggle with the bus timetables. If you dare do that, check the bus timetable between Kawaguciko and Mishima Station.
