The drivers are relaxed and slow. 40 and 80 kph are most common highway speeds, so European or Americans will feel like they are walking.

2024年5月10日 · A few getting around questions. May 10, 2024, 11:03 PM. Hello, I am finalizing my trip plan to Costa Rica for this summer. I fly in and out of San Jose airport. I plan to spend three nights near the Arenal volcano, three nights near Manuel Antonio, and two night in Uvita. I think I’ve decided to not rent a car.

I’ve traveled with them in Nicaragua quite a few years ago & the tour was excellent. Not used them in Costa Rica where it’s fairly easy to get around on your own.
