2024年9月26日 · Be quiet on public transportation. Wear your backpack in front of you so you don't whack someone with it on a crowded train. It is VERY safe but street smarts are always a good idea. There are basically no trashcans anywhere so any trash you make you're carrying with you until you get back to your lodging.

The most lively areas in the evening are Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ikebukuro, Akihabara, Ginza, and Roppongi in Tokyo. Gion, Pontocho, Kiyamachi, and Kawaramachi in Kyoto. Dotonbori, Shinsaibashi, Namba, and Kitashinchi in Osaka. You can also visit observatories.
