We'll have come from Uk, staying over in Singapore for 3 nights. I think our standard room is known as an atrium room and have read comments about them being dark.

I am traveling solo and have 2 nights in mid-October between Nara and Tokyo. was thinking I would like top see Mt Fuji. I found an affordable Ryokan in Fujikawaguchiko on the North side thinking it might be less touristy than Hakone.

Currently thinking of staying in Ginza for one part of the trip (potentially FS Otemachi. Unfortunately Tokyo Station Hotel is booked).
2024年8月7日 · Department stores always carry them but they are meant for gifting with prices to match (for example 10,000 yen each). Sometimes they do have cheaper versions when in season. Supermarkets should be a lot cheaper, the regular grade, when available. Ameyoko would be cheaper than department stores.

2024年8月2日 · In 2013 we were at par now it cost us 30% more for USD. So we only buy and tip in the Peso which has only gotten weaker and cheaper to buy and tip with. For example, $5 USD cost me $6.80 CAD, but a nice 200 Peso tip only cost me $4.60. So 100 and 200 peso tips are nice to get and cost less to give away too. So you can tip more and spend less.
