6 天前 · We have a car and don't mind long drives. I thought we would base ourselves in either Biei or Furano for two nights. There doesn't seem to be much of a range of accommodation in the Daisetsuzan National Park . I was looking at Chill Village in Biei - not sure if anyone has stayed there or has other recommendations.
6 天前 · Day 2- Nijo Market & Mt Moiwa. Day 3- Train to Otaru. Day 4- Take rental car and drive to Furano, Biei and Asahikawa. Stay overnight at Asahikawa. Day 5- Drive to lake Toya, Jigokudani and Noboritbetsu and back to Sapporo. Day 6- Return the car in the morning.
2024年5月31日 · I ski in Hokkaido a few times each year, and prefer to stay at a single resort. This way I don’t have to keep moving hotels and transferring my gear. This gives me more time to ski. If you are traveling with family, I would recommend Rusutsu, as it is a more family-friendly resort.

You may book the Shinkansen from Tokyo to Nagano, but you cannot book a local train from Nagano to Ydanaka unless you're taking the Limited Express for this section.
