I've read reviews on other sites and am concerned by those mentioning problems with customer service and getting refunds for cancelled flights.
- Just use the search box on this forum or on the main forums homepage to search for existing topics on Skylux and read the complaints and warnings....
- Your concerned about negative reviews but are still considering them. How many positive comments do you need to offset the negatives
- Did you read the complaints on the BBB site which comes up on the first page when you Google them? (although to my surprise they are actually BBB a...

- Thanks for sharing. There are some sites where they have 4.5 and 4.7 ratings, but ratings are over a multi-year period. I was seeking recent info.
- #4 thanks. You're confirming my assessment, but my husband felt otherwise and so I wanted to make sure my sense that Skylux was shady had merit. I'...
- Even worse is that they look like a mileage broker to me. I could be wrong about that but their website quoting 50 to 77% off business class airfar...

In regards to luggage, some airlines will check the weight of your carry on bags in areas other then the check in desk such as at the boarding gate, just prior to immigration (air asia used to do this at Klia2 - but I've not flown out of Klia2 since covid so no idea if they still do). 3.
- Yes. Airlines can, and do weigh hand luggage at the gate as well. You may end up having your cabin bag checked anyway. And if it is overweight you...
- "Am I missing anything??" Yes, but it will depend on where your flying to. Some places will require you to show documents before a boarding pass os...
- Am I missing anything?? Yes, accuracy. I can dispute pretty much every line but not going to bother as I expect this one to disappear.
- "So you just enter the aircraft with bags slightly too heavy - which is most of us." Instead of going out of your way to try to bend the "carry on"...
- Why not just weigh your bags at home? If you don't have a bathroom scale a luggage scale is inexpensive.
- If you check-in online and get your boarding pass electronically, and you skip the airport kiosk and check-in counter and proceed directly to the g...
- Check if you need a paper boarding pass - not all countries accept electronic ones

- Clearly things work very differently in different countries. #9, electronic boarding passes are accepted almost everywhere in Europe - in fact they...
The link at the top of google says AD. The website has the guest reservations name in the address, not the hotel site. When you get to the checkout area and the terms and conditions it is quite clear who you are paying. And the few I looked at don’t look anything like the real site.
Mytrip claims to be an IATA accredited online travel agency. They advertise an English helpline number +44 8447747881 but it now appears to us that this is only a front for a Greek company, We booked flights with them on 9 February 2016 on Iberia Airlines (Madrid to Lisbon) and their subsidiary Air Nostrum (from Malaga to Madrid) .
1 year ago. My husband, daughter and I flew Norse to England. Note, they only seem to fly into Gatwick, which is farther from London than Heathrow. They are definitely “budget,” in that you have to “upgrade” if you want ANYTHING other than a seat on the plane. Note also that they are almost impossible to contact.
