Statins may protect against primary sclerosing cholangitis in IBD patients 12 Jun 2024. Patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) who use statins appear to have a substantially reduced risk of primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC), as shown in a retrospective study.

Paracetamol. Indications/Uses. Short-term treatment of moderate pain, especially following surgery, & of fever when IV administration is clinically justified by an urgent need to treat pain or hyperthermia &/or when other routes of administration are not possible.
Adult 1 tab (50 mg) as a single dose 1 hr before sexual activity. Max: Once per day. Alternatively, may be taken ½ to 4 hr before sexual activity. Depending on the effectiveness, the dose may be increased to a max of 2 tab (100 mg). Elderly Initiate therapy at a lower dose.
