Biography. Hangyuan joined the Adam Smith Business School in 2023 as Lecturer in Accounting. He received his PhD in Accounting from New York University Stern School of Business. He also holds a BBA, MSc, and Mphil from Lingnan University in Hong Kong.

Sizhe Hong joined the Adam Smith Business School as a lecturer in Finance in January 2022. He received a PhD and a MSc in Finance from Durham University. Before joining University of Glasgow, he worked in Middlesex University as a Lecturer. His research interests include banking, central bank communication, and FinTech.

Biography. Anwen Zhang is an applied microeconomist and currently Senior Lecturer in Economics at the Adam Smith Business School. His research focuses on policy-relevant issues related to health and education. His recent work aims to understand what matters for mental health.
Research Summary. My research sits at the intersection of literature and education, trying to engage language learners to read literature effortlessly and happily. Other research interests include: Children's literature and Young Adult (YA) literature.
Biography. I joined the University of Glasgow in 2022, having completed my PhD at Queen Mary University of London. As a sociolinguist and discourse analyst, my research interests focus on language and gender, nationalism/national identity and the interactions between these, particularly in the Irish context.
