   成就. 自六十年代起，明愛率先為基層人士提供社區組織的服務。 每年，社區發展服務組織近 100 個居民小組，協助他們解決共同的需要，並動員超過 109,000 名居民參與社區活動。 而失業人士綜合服務計劃共有 42,100 人次之失業人士參與，並成功為其中 600 多人推薦工作。 明愛亦顧及在港外地勞工的需要，推出外地勞工服務計劃，每年有超過 10,000 名外地勞工參與活動。 隨著社會不斷改變，明愛先後推出不同的服務計劃，服務有特別需要的組群。 這些計劃包括： 於工業區設立職工中心. 設立婦女中心，關注女性權益，鼓勵女性積極投入社會. 推出失業人士綜合服務計劃及輔導熱線. 推出為亞洲勞工而設的服務計劃. 設立男士互助中心, 提升基層男性權益及互助精神.
