   2024年5月10日 · 自置居所. 居屋第二市場. 房委會於1997年6月正式推行「居屋第二市場計劃」讓現居公屋住戶和綠表資格證明書持有人可選購居者有其屋計劃（居屋）／私人機構參建居屋計劃／ 租者置其屋計劃單位，其後亦包括綠表置居先導計劃／綠表置居計劃的單位（以下簡稱資助出售單位）。 這項安排增加了資助出售單位的流轉量，以滿足社會對資助自置居所的需求。 更重要的是，現居公屋住戶和綠表資格證明書持有人享有多一個自置居所的途徑，而房委會則可騰出更多出租公屋，編配予有真正需要的人士。 居屋第二市場樓宇買賣的運作，大致上與公開市場上的模式相同，買賣雙方可自行磋商，或透過地產代理進行交易。 買方必須承擔將來在公開市場上把單位出售、出租或以其他方式轉讓前，所須要繳付補價的責任。
