First of all, you will need to get the Death Certificate. Together with the other additional supporting documents, we should be able to provide you with a list of bank accounts held in the name of the deceased with HSBC as at the date of death.
Registering the death. After someone passes away, their death must be registered with the Births and Deaths General Register Office - contact details of the Deaths Registry can be found in useful contact. The Deaths Registry will give you a 'certified copy of a death entry', more commonly known as the Death Certificate.
