2024年5月13日 · 57 helpful votes. 2. Re: Traveling to Japan with a 14 year old. May 13, 2024, 5:21 PM. I am going to suggest 4 or 5 full days for Tokyo and 3 to 4 full days for Kyoto. Study what you may want to go see and then see how that would fit in such a time frame. It will take you two and a half hours on average to take a train from Tokyo to Kyoto.
2024年5月14日 · We are a family of 4 (two teen boys - 13 and 16) travelling to Japan 28 Sept to 12 October. Its our first time in Japan - 14 nights. Our proposed itinerary: arrive early morning Sat 28th Sept (overnight flight from NZ arriving in Nirata) and we head straight out from Tokyo to Kyoto on train. We stay in Kyoto 3 nights.
