24-hour Accident & Emergency Department and an Emergency Medicine Ward. Medicine & Geriatrics Department provides various services, including eight wards, five Cardiac Care Unit beds, the Tin Ka Ping Infirmary, Geriatric Day Hospital, New Territories West Diabetes Centre and Rheumatology Assessment & Treatment Centre.

Pok Oi Hospital was established in 1919, and has been serving as an important hospital for the local Yuen Long community for 90 years. To meet the increasing health care demand of the New Territories West, the Government announced the redevelopment of Pok Oi Hospital in 1998.

POH Ambulatory Services Centre provides one-stop mixed specialty services, comprising: Wai Yin Association Ambulatory Gynaecology Centre, Day Surgery Unit, Day Urology Service, Day Ward & Pre-operative Assessment Services, Advanced Wound Specialty Service, Endoscopy Unit and Electro-medical Diagnostic Unit.
