51 reviews. 109 helpful votes. How to select a seat on a Qatar code share flight? 2 years ago. I am having a hard time figuring out how we can pick our seats on AA for a flight we booked through Qatar. I picked my Qatar seats, but it wouldn't let me pick the AA flights.
- You need to contact Qatar to give you the PNR for your AA booking. It will be different to the Qatar one.
- Phone AA. They should be able to find your booking with or without a PNR.
- AA may or may not help you. Each airline handles code shares differently. I had a code share AC with Austrian air and couldn't pick seat on second...
