I called BOA today to check if anything has changed in their agreement with Barclays Bank in the UK. Still no foreign ATM/cashpoint fee, but a 1% Visa fee will apply for both ATM transactions and purchases.
Use your Bank of America ATM or debit card at one of our International partner ATMs and avoid the non-Bank of America ATM $5 usage fee for each withdrawal, transfer or balance inquiry as well as the ATM operator access fee.
2023年9月9日 · I have used them twice recently for hotel bookings. After checking my bank statements, on both occasions they charged my credit card more than what was on their invoices. After contacting them all they would say is that it must be a problem with my bank
All ATM's will take your B of A Card. Scotia Bank on the Dutch side will not charge you to use it. Nor will B of A. Dutch currency is tied to US$, so the exchange rate never changes.

It is a program through BOA that covers admission to a number of museums nation wide. There are no signs at the admission desk to advertise this, just show your card and mention the program.

The bank agent told me that Bank of America doesn't have banks in partnership in Japan and if I use my debit card to withdraw cash in Japan, it would be 3% fee + $5 fee each time. Whereas if I buy cash in US from the bank before heading over there, there is no fee.
