進入香港公共圖書館網頁: http://www.hkpl.gov.hk 。 點選主頁上的 我的帳戶 / 續借 輸入框或點擊浮動選單上的 我的帳戶 。 輸入圖書證號碼或香港身份證號碼*。 輸入「網上密碼」或登記電話號碼的最後四個數字，然後點擊 登入讀者帳戶 。 選擇 我的帳戶 ，然後點擊 借出項目 。 在 選取續借 下，選取欲續借圖書館資料旁的方格，或點擊 全選本頁項目 ，然後點擊 續借已選項目 。 (該項資料旁沒有顯示選取方格，即表示目前不能續借。 在續借手續完成後，畫面會顯示參考編號和續借資料新的到期日。 讀者宜記下參考編號以便日後查詢，並返回「我的帳戶」查看是否尚有未曾成功續借的館藏項目，及查閱「帳項」總額。 點擊 登出 ，以便離開系統。
