Instructions. Preheat the oven to 160˚C (standard). Grease and flour a 1.2 litre loaf tin. Heat the butter and milk in a medium saucepan over medium heat until the butter is melted, then remove from the heat. Combine the eggs, sugar and vanilla in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment.

Instructions. Preheat the oven to 160˚C and line the base and sides of a 15 cm round cake tin with baking paper. Place the chocolate into a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of gently simmering water, ensuring the base of the bowl is not touching the water. Cook, stirring occasionally until the chocolate has melted.
