   2020年12月11日 · 政府公布指定檢疫酒店計劃詳情. ＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊＊. 為了減少來自外地的旅客與本地社區的接觸，政府已經由七月二十五日起規定從高風險地區返港人士於酒店接受強制檢疫，並由十一月十三日起擴大至所有從中國以外的國家返港人士。 為進一步加強外防輸入的力度，減低從海外返港人士與本地社區的接觸，政府將於十二月二十二日零時零分起實施新措施，規定所有從中國以外其他國家抵港人士必須按《預防及控制疾病（規管跨境交通工具及到港者）規例》（第599H章）下的指示在指定檢疫酒店進行強制檢疫14天。 政府發言人表示：「作為指定檢疫酒店，酒店必須通過衞生署及相關部門（包括機電工程署和屋宇署）的評估，以確保酒店的設計、設施和工作流程符合疾病防控的要求。 指定檢疫酒店只可以接待從中國以外其他國家抵港的強制檢疫人士。
