整個 「匡智賽馬會松嶺村」 將會分階段於三年內建成三幢新大樓，供九個服務單位之用，額外提供八百三十四個復康服務名額，令總服務名額增加至一千一百一十七個。 當中包括：提供三百個中度及嚴重智障人士宿位，紓緩院舍服務短缺問題；逾百個學前兒童服務、早期教育及訓練名額，服務範圍涵蓋初生至六歲的幼兒；亦設有兒童之家、綜合職業康復服務中心及展能中心。 馬會一直積極與社區組織及非政府組織合作，推出適切的復康服務，除是次擴建計劃外，亦捐助匡智會成立訓練酒店「賽馬會匡智居」，為智障人士提供酒店房務和餐飲的培訓；撥款超過二億九千六百萬港元協助重建及擴展「東華三院賽馬會復康中心」；支持香港明愛翻新中度智障人士院舍及庇護工場；以及透過「香港賽馬會社區資助計劃」捐助學前弱能兒童家長會，推動有需要的家庭互助團結。
