Frequently Asked Questions. What can I expect from my first massage therapy appointment? Your first visit will be approximately 45-60 minutes in duration. Your therapist will conduct a thorough assessment of your condition which will determine which techniques will most benefit you. During your massage only the area being treated will be exposed.

Registered Massage Therapists Burnaby. All of our massage therapists are registered with the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia. Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) are among the most educated and highly trained in the country.
Massage helps to relieve post-exercise muscle soreness. However, if the soreness is chronic due to poor posture, then you need to improve your posture. This can be done through stretching, strengthening and improved body awareness. If the soreness is due to deconditioning, then you will have to build up the strength in your muscles again.
