2024年5月22日 · Pisa-Centrale, the main train station of Pisa is just less than 2 km to the south of the Field of Miracles. It is a pleasant enough walk of around 20 to 30 minutes. The most direct route goes from the station along via Francesco Crispi and then once across the Arno River on Via Roma directly to the Leaning Tower.

For Leaning Tower Square get a train that stops in Pisa San Rossore Station… After you exit the train you will walk through the "subway" which is the path underneath the tracks. Once you emerge walk straight outside the gates and make a hard left onto Via Andrea Pisano.

The best time to go is in the morning, so you get to the Leaning Tower before the crowds arrive (the most crowded time to visit Pisa is from 10 am through mid-afternoon).
These trains all call at Pisa S. Rossore station, which is the closest station to the tower; after they call at Pisa Centrale. Another option (that’s easiest on Mon-Fri) is to first take a train from Firenze S.M.Novella station to Lucca.
