申請條件. 如果你打算在保單加上另一位駕駛者，你必須符合數個申請條件，以下為4個最常見的條件： 駕駛者必須擁有最少兩年經驗－ 申請加入保單的駕駛者需要擁有最少兩年駕駛經驗，或起碼持有駕駛執照超過兩年。 駕駛者必須年滿18歲或25歲－ 每間保險公司的要求或會有些許分別，但大部份計劃都要求加入保單的駕駛者年滿25歲，因為這個年齡的駕駛者不會再被視為年輕駕駛者。 而最起碼，駕駛者也必須年滿18歲，因為這是香港法例規定的最低合法駕駛年齡。 駕駛者必須持有有效的駕駛執照－ 這個條件包括兩個部份：首先，駕駛執照不能已過期，或在保單完結前過期。 第二點是，駕駛執照必須由香港或其他受 運輸署 認可的國家簽發。 如果加入保單的駕駛者所持有的執照並非由認可的國家所簽發，你便很有可能無法在保單上加上他們的名字。
