She knew about the 'Internal Server Error' issue, and advised that this was a known error with the online check-in that won't be resolved before 18th March at the earliest, and said airport check-in is the way to go. (A bit daft that this isn't advised on the site but at least I know now.)

Has anyone else had problems with registering on the Smart-EX website to book Hayatoku advance discounted tickets on shinkansen? I've tried two different credit cards and they've both been rejected several times.
