2024年4月4日 · 約克自由行懶人包. 位於英格蘭北邊的約克（York）歷史超過兩千年、自公元71年即開始發展，一開始是羅馬人的據點，之後在七大王國、維京人、諾曼入侵等時期都是英格蘭的北方重鎮與信仰中心，也因為優越的地理位置（River Ouse跟River Foss匯流處）而成為貿易門戶。 約克的旅遊很有趣，除了可以欣賞早期英格蘭的歷史遺跡，還可親眼目睹亨利八世創立英國國教之後造成的衝擊。 雖說它的歷史悠久、經歷不少動盪，但市容保存非常完善，再加上宗教、位置與貿易的重要性，成為現在英國名列前茅的古都與旅遊景點，甚至可以說是我最喜愛的英國城市。
