    於2010 年11 月3 日，監管局與內地有關規管機構「中國房地產估價師與房地產經紀人學會」 (中房學) 就該計劃簽訂了協議，落實了計劃的基本安排。 首屆訓練課程及考試已於2011年舉行。 監管局期後與中房學於2017年6月23日再次簽訂協議，延續有關計劃。 根據有關協議，監管局與中房學在協議期內分別推薦特定數額的合資格地產代理及房地產經紀人參加由對方專門開設的培訓課程及考試。 獲推薦的人士通過考試後，將分別取得在內地和香港從事房地產經紀人或地產代理行業的資格。 計劃將會包括以下步驟: 1. 甄選參加者; 2. 雙方提名參加者和交換推薦名單; 3. 舉辦訓練課程以協助兩地的地產代理了解兩地於法律制度及執業手法上的差別; 4. 舉辦考試;及. 5. 授予有關資格。

    To celebrate its 15thanniversary, the Estate Agents Authority (EAA) held a ceremony at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 26 November 2012. A professional forum on “15 years of development and advancement — marching into the era of quality, professionalism and integrity” was also organised before the ceremony.
