1 year ago. Yes, self transfer means separate tickets for at least two of the flights, and airlines will frequently not check bags through on separate tickets, in several cases not even if it is the same airline for both flights.

6 years ago. I use skyscanner all the time to check routes, prices, connection options. Budget airlines (ryanair etc.) I go and buy on their websites, connections I would buy also via platforms offered by skyscanner. never had any problems.

I understand Skyscanner is a price comparison site and not a booking site, however I am getting costs with sky scanner that are no where near what the direct airline is giving me.
