We ADORED Wicked, but for children 6 and 9, it's probably not the right choice. If you look at the show's website, it is recommended for children 8 and up. It's a mature story, and yes there is some upsetting stuff that happens, but that's part of the wonderful story.
I have seen Wicked twice and Lion King once, both in the West End in London. Both are brilliant shows but chalk and cheese in comparison. Personally myself and my youngest daughter (14) would see Wicked again and again, love the music and Team Green
