   2020年12月8日 · 林鄭月娥今日在行政會議前會見傳媒，簡述政府擬採取的新一輪防疫措施。 公務員方面，政府會進一步壓縮上班安排，盡量要求公務員在家工作。 政府並強烈呼籲私營機構和其他公營機構的僱主在顧及運作需要下壓縮人流，盡量讓員工在家工作。 林鄭月娥表示，此安排或對公共服務有一定影響，政府會維持緊急和必要服務。 由於等候必要服務的時間可能會更長，若因此引起個人或企業在符合法定規例上有誤差，例如未能符合在正常情況下於指定日期前完成某項工作或向政府提出某項申請，政府會酌情處理。 營業處所方面，政府會禁止食肆晚上6時後提供堂食服務，而健身中心、體育處所、美容院、按摩院這四類在上周生效仍可適度運作的處所，均須全面關閉。
