為增強長者與護老者對安全使用藥物的認識及了解，香港賽馬會慈善信託基金撥款支持香港藥學服務基金，推行為期三年的賽馬會「長者藥物認知」推廣計劃。 今天 (一月三十日)，馬會董事楊紹信先生聯同食物及衛生局局長高永文醫生，以及香港藥學服務基金主席蔣秀珠女士，主持賽馬會「長者藥物認知」推廣計劃的揭幕典禮。 楊紹信先生指出，市民服藥時普遍忽略了相關用藥說明，或是對其一知半解。 他說：「胡亂服藥可能對身體構成嚴重傷害，馬會一向致力向大眾推廣健康生活的態度，所以很高興與香港藥學服務基金合作，透過賽馬會『長者藥物認知』推廣計劃，喚起大眾對用藥安全的關注。

The Club’s Chief Medical Officer has advised that Alfred K H Chan, who was dislodged from LUCKY QUALITY shortly after the start of Race 5 at Sha Tin Racecourse last Sunday, 14 April 2024, has been assessed. Jockey Chan suffered fractures to 3 ribs and is currently recuperating.
