South Island School is a private international school founded by the English Schools Foundation of Hong Kong, located at 50 Nam Fung Road, Aberdeen, Hong Kong, with about 1,400 students enrolled and 107 teachers. Students come from diverse backgrounds, with over 38 nationalities represented.
南島中學 （英語： South Island School）是 英基學校協會 在 香港 香港島 南區 黃竹坑 的一所傳統英式 國際學校。 歷史. [編輯] 南島中學於1977年為函接港島中學之中學課程而成立，為10-18歲的在港外籍學生提供中學課程。 於1983年遷至現址。 創辦初期有 宋慶齡 樓及一座室外游泳池。 [2] 隨着學校不斷擴大，設施需求殷切。 接着的一座新大樓命名為 霍金 樓，亦興建了一座室內游泳池。 [3] 2003年，學校需求開始飽和。 大批學生的成長促成了新校舍的興建，校方決定分別在C座及S座旁興建新校舍。 於2004年，新座落成，命名為 達文西 樓。 2010年，學生游暘銜接 海外大學 的 國際文憑大學預科課程 中取得滿分45分佳績。

Our Facilities. The South Island campus is based in the beautiful green south side of Hong Kong Island against the back drop of Mount Nicholson and facing out into the South China sea. It is a semi rural location which means it is away from the noise of the city yet accessible to it in less than ten minutes through the Aberdeen tunnel.
