Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) are among the most educated and highly trained in the country. They are health professionals who have met rigorous registration requirements, including post-secondary education in sciences and in clinical applications of massage therapy.
MASSAGE THERAPY BENEFITS. Improves circulation, which brings more oxygen and nutrients into tissues and vital organs. Relaxes and decreases tone of injured and overused muscles. Stimulates the lymph system (the body’s natural defense) against toxic invaders. Relieves pain for migraine sufferers and decreases the need for medication.
Massage helps to relieve post-exercise muscle soreness. However, if the soreness is chronic due to poor posture, then you need to improve your posture. This can be done through stretching, strengthening and improved body awareness. If the soreness is due to deconditioning, then you will have to build up the strength in your muscles again.
Initial Visit. An initial 60 minute appointment is covered at no cost to you. Subsequent Visits. Your 11 subsequent visit fees are based on the length of your appointment. 45 minutes – No fee. 60 minutes – $29.
