2024年1月9日 · When I right click on PDF files I see the option to open them in Adobe, but not combine them. This option 100% was in 2017, and it save a step from having to open Adobe and go into the tools, select Combine and then drage the files into Adobe. I really need the ability to right click on files in Explorer, and have that "Combine" option.

I am increasingly convinced that it is not possible to combine digitally signed documents into a single, summary pdf, while maintaining the underlying digital signatures.

Once you have created the 2 page merge, you than take your final PDF and Combine Files into PDF allowing you to save your work as one PDF.
2018年10月16日 · ETA: Naturally, as soon as I posted I was able to figure out the solution: When in the combined files window click options and uncheck Save As PDF Portfolio. The combined file should now say Binder instead of Portfolio. Whatever I do - I now can't now combine files to create a 'binder' PDF - only a 'portfolio' PDF.
2020年7月30日 · Windows 10 only allows you to view PDF files using the Edge browser. To merge or combine PDF files, you'll need an app like Adobe Acrobat which have that function. You can also find other utilities online that works the same. Hope it helps!

2023年10月20日 · LATEST. When you combine the files in Acrobat it can maintain the bookmarks structure of each file in the new one, but only if they point to a page. Other bookmarks are removed. If you want to maintain all bookmarks you will need to use an external tool or a plugin and recreate the bookmarks tree in the merged file.

2024年3月29日 · But here is a list of things we have tried to fix the issue: 1. removing and reinstalling adobe acrobat. 2. repairing the adobe acrobat installation. 3. updating to the latest version of adobe acrobat from Acrobat X. 4. doing the regsvr command to register the context menu in the command prompt.
