Using the above changes to the AUDIO, the file size created was a 864 MB .MP4 file when the original ISO/DVD was 4.35GB. So that is a 5 to 1 reduction in size. I tested the conversion time on 2 PC's. The first was a i7-920 quad and the second was a Q9550 quad both with Windows 7 64 bit.

2007年12月10日 · It's exactly like ripping an ordinary DVD Video, except after the preliminary analysis, it showed two identical titles of the movie. (Occasionally regular DVD Video movies do that too.) I needed only to reauthor and select either one of them to rip to the hard drive, which produced the standard DVD Video format with AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS folders.
So there is likely a misunderstanding of the process or terms used. What you are performing only requires two steps: 1) RIP the DVD 2) convert to mp4. You can RIP with a program such DVDFab (which also has a conversion tool, although I've not used it). Then convert to mp4 with the program of your choice.
