For example, if an employee works 7 hours and 30 minutes, you would enter it as 7.50 hours. Thank you, that's what I thought, but my employee has questioned me a few times why it's .50 minutes not an hour. So just wanted to clarify it.
Update event should be a Pay event. I was going to lodge October PAYG with the ATO but have noticed the amounts don't balance. It appears as though the first pay run for October has been reported as an Update Event $0.00 and not a Pay Event $758.00. The ATO’s figure is $758 short of the payroll activity for the month.

From what I can see, we have 2 options: Set both Income Type and Employment Basis in MYOB as 'Labour Hire" (which is not technically correct);or Set Income Type as 'Labour Hire' and Employment Basis as 'Other - Not Reported' (in which case suggests that MYOB software does not support this type of reporting).

2024年9月30日 · The MYOB Login has always been bad, but now it's even worse. As others mentioned, it should be up to the users to decide the level of security when logging in. This is the only program where we have to manually type in the login details every day on the same exact computers, costing the business a minimum of 3-5 minutes a day, which is 20-25 minutes per week, of unpaid labour.
