  5. Performance-wise, ProtonVPN for me has generally been a lot more consistent in performance (bandwidth and latency wise) than Mullvad, where servers sporadically get high ping or die. This might be due to me using SG servers though, which Mullvad doesn't have a lot of.

Nothing could be updated or uninstalled in pamac because everything was a dependency of everything else. Finally, I had to manually uninstall protonvpn, protonvpn-gui, and protonvpn-cli with yay in the terminal and then manually reinstall protonvpn.

  8. I use ProtonVPN because of it's strong record with privacy, being based on Switzerland, and the fact it comes with the whole Proton package if you get Unlimited or Family. I would never use a VPN provider based in a 14 eyes country.

  10. 2023年8月6日 · It is safe as long as they don't need to investigate you. using ProtonVPN for over a year now I can say they have always protected my privacy. I monitor my network traffic closely and have never seen any concerning leaks or logs from Proton. Proton is nice for privacy, but not the best VPN for speed.
