But highland is a different beast! It looks like an old model 3, but the similarity stops there. Once it starts moving, it feels a completely different car.

Model Y feels much heavier, but it is a great family hauler. If you intend to get a Tesla for all-purpose family hauler, Model Y is a better choice. If you prefer to have agile/zippy driving experience, Model 3 is awesome. Imo, get Model Y first to serve as all-purpose family vehicle.

All in all, the 2023 Model 3 is nothing short of a world class car. It only bears superficial resemblance to the cars they were selling just a few years ago. I was reluctant to jump on the price drop, as my existing Model 3 was in good shape and paid for. I do not regret the decision to upgrade. I hope this helps someone on the fence.
With Tesla you should get around 30kWh per day, depends a lot though on how you drive and what speeds, if you go at 80 and it is warm and nice, you could go as low as 20kWh, but doing 130Km/h and in cold, you can go up to 40kWh. So lets take that. It should end up costing you around 4.5e a day.
