Some people want to save money and don't mind a slower train. That said, to Hitachinaka, the express Tokiwa is available and you need to get an express ticket.

From Kawaguchiko Station Platform 1, you can take the Kawaguchiko Sightseeing Bus Red-Line to the last stop, stop 22, for Kawaguchiko Natural Living Center and Oishi Park.
