Our rough draft itinerary looks like this -. Tokyo x7 nights arriving late evening -. Kanazana x 2 nights, Takayama x 3 nights, Kyoto x 4 nights.
3 天前 · We intend to visit places around Kanazawa in the two days there. So please suggest accordingly. So my first five days at Shangri-La Tokyo. 2 days at Honjin Hiranoya Kachoan at Takayama. 2 days at Kanazawa. Hotel/Ryokan undecided. 3 days at The Thousand Kyoto. 2 days at Marriott Miyako at Osaka. Please suggest a good Hotel/ryokan at Kanazawa.

Since next 2-3 days are rainy, just wondering if experts here have any suggestions how to spend time. We were planning to visit Hakone and local tourist places in Tokyo, but not sure if those plans are feasible with rain.

Wondering if that’s sufficient or should I stay the night to have a nicer feel of what the town is like. We’re a family of 2 adults and 3 children and we don’t intend to have onsen baths. Purely exploring the town and probably go up the rope way.

My question is, what would be the best time potentially to see beautiful foliage this Autumn (2024) in the Kyoto region?
5 天前 · Answer 1 of 3: Hi we were going to do this attraction but it is closed. Is there anything else like this that would be open please. We would really love to see a good view of the mountains and we are staying at ryokan Gizan. We have a car and time to explore.
