6 天前 · Aug 5, 2024, 6:22 PM. I will be in Tokyo (staying in Shibuya district) from Sep 15 thru Sep 25. We will be mostly exploring Tokyo each day with possible day trips to Nikko and Mt. Fuji. Does it make sense to buy JR passes or should we just pay as we go? I heard mention of a Suica card.
5 天前 · Our interests are food, drink, architecture, nature, seeing some snow and enjoying a traditional Ryokan, and onsens, plus doing hands on activities like tea ceremonies, cooking classes etc. Our draft itinerary - March 2025. 1-5 March - Tokyo + Day trip to view Mt Fuji. 5-6 March - Shibu Onsen + Snow Monkeys.

(I’ll arrive Chitose Airport sometime on the 22nd and leave Chitose on May 4th.) I’ll be renting a car at the airport. I’d like to visit some of the national parks. My proposed order of visit is as follows:

6 天前 · 74 reviews. 40 helpful votes. Driving in Japan. Aug 5, 2024, 11:25 PM. Hi all. Just wondering how easy/ hard it is driving in Japan? I want to travel from a remote onsen in Gunma area to Nikko but the public transport will take 5.5 hrs ONE WAY! Driving will take 2.5 hrs.
6 天前 · Vodafone roaming should work just fine. It will like be using the Docomo or Softbank network. As to paying $5 a day, for a trip of a few days, it won't cost much more than a local SIM. If your trip lasts more than a week, it might end up quite a bit more expensive.
5 天前 · The snorkeling around the Punta Cana area is not very good. If snorkeling is a priority for you then you should be looking at a resort on the south Caribbean Sea side of the Dominican, it is 10X better than Punta Cana. I would look at Dreams Dominicus. I'm a diver & my wife snorkels and we returning for our 6th visit.
