I am arriving late after a long flight. - 3 nights, Tokyo. - 3 nights, Kyoto incl. one full day trip to Nara. - 2 nights, Osaka. - 1 night, Onomichi. - 2 nights, Hiroshima.

We will be arriving end of October 2024 to Osaka and have 4 nights, then 5 days hiking the Kumano Kodo trail. Next Miyajima Island for 1 night then Hiroshima 1 night, maybe 2. Kyoto 3/4 nights and then our last stop will be Tokyo.
3 天前 · Hi all, After just finishing our trip we are looking to return and stay for 1 or 2 months next time. Any tips/advice on finding accommodation? Or are Bookings, AirBNB etc still the go-to places for long stay?

I've been hanging to visit Aso for yeeears, and I'll finally be in the area in a few days. 1) It's a mad trip for me (can't drive) and wonder if the 1 km-radius lookouts are worth going at all. 2) Any ideas when it will reopen?
4 天前 · 1. What rail passes would work to get me to the various destinations? 2. Is the order of destinations best for the rail pass? 3. When should I activate the pass? It will be our first visit to Japan, and we like to see areas well rather than cover a wider area quickly. Advice on our itinerary would be appreciated too. Regards Grant. Days 1-4 Tokyo.
