4 天前 · Having already been to more southern parts of Japan before, I opted to do Nikko and Sendai (as a jumping off place more than as a destination in its own right) in addition to Tokyo for this trip with my older teen daughter. I am writing this post to say would highly recommend staying 2-3 nights in Nikko, with once major caveat.
5 天前 · I am planning to travel to tokyo and tohoku region (with the JR east pass) in early-mid december or mid-late december. I did quite a bit of research but alas am still confused haha. I am hoping someone is able to let me know if my tentative itinerary is feasible?
5 天前 · Hello. Looking to get some clarification due to mkxed information found online. My flight from UK will be arriving at T2 Haneda (apparently ANA will land there and not in T3 sometimes). I have read that the welcome suica or pasmo paasport can only be purchased at T3, but some say T2 also. Has anyone had recent experience of getting one at T2 (in last couple of months)?

6 天前 · I’ve seen the Hibiya Blossom recommended on here, and am very taken by the wonderful views. Also seen the Daiywa Roynet mentioned, and it seems very convenient for Tokyo station as well as various metro stations. Our other concern is food - we are vegetarian. Which would be the best area for food choices, in your opinion?
